Gingerbread

Gingerbread is a swedish kind of cookie which tastes either like cinnamon, cardamom, ginger or cloves. In swedish the cookie is called "Pepparkaka", which indicates that it contains pepper, but that hasn't been the case for a long time.
The classical gingerbreads are often shaped like hearts, stars, pigs, "christmas goats", christmas trees, gingerbread-men or gingerbread-women. But it's also common that people make gingerbread-houses, but this doesn't only happen in Sweden as gingerbread-houses are often found in other countries like the US and the Uk.
